Qualifications

• 5–10 years experience in a food production facility (USDA facilities preferred)
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read schematics and communicate with vendors
• Physical ability to lift 75 lbs and perform mechanical/electrical work safely

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform maintenance tasks for production equipment and facility infrastructure
• Organize and track maintenance activities while coordinating with outside vendors
• Conduct preventive maintenance and general repairs across the facility
• Manage current and future projects with timelines
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules
• Meet with ownership and operations to discuss needs
• Maintain inventory and tracking for tools and supplies
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems
