Job summary

ContiTech is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the plant's maintenance team and maximize equipment reliability while supporting safe, uninterrupted production. You will drive preventive maintenance, lead CIP efforts, and promote a culture of safety and teamwork.

This hands-on supervisory role requires troubleshooting, repairs, and continuous improvement to ensure high uptime and efficiency, coordinating with Production, Engineering and Safety teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to troubleshoot and make decisions under pressure.
• Experience with CMMS to plan and document maintenance.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer apps.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of staff; hands-on maintenance when needed.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ISO standards.
• Lean, TPM, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the maintenance team for safe, efficient plant operations.
• Manage and improve the preventive maintenance program to maximize uptime.
• Drive improvements to increase productivity and reduce downtime.
• Plan, prioritize, and assign maintenance work per production schedules.
• Coordinate annual shutdowns and major projects for maximum availability.
• Establish maintenance standards and track labor and activities.
• Maintain housekeeping and workplace safety standards.
• Coach and develop direct reports through feedback and training.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Safety to meet goals.
• Hands-on role: troubleshoot, repair and support maintenance activities.
