Job summary

BEST Human Capital & Advisory Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer Manager to lead a maintenance team in a manufacturing setting. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving plant equipment and facilities, while ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

The manager reports to the Assistant Plant Manager and is a hands-on leader within the plant leadership team. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical engineering and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering or related technical field is required.
• Minimum five years of practical work experience maintaining equipment and facilities in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• At least two years of experience leading teams and managing schedules and performance.
• Experience implementing EPA and OSHA compliance across equipment and facilities.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams.
• Proficiency with CMMS/ERP software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and lead preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance for equipment and plant facilities.
• Diagnose equipment failures and lead timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems with the team.
• Develop and follow preventative maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met plant-wide.
• Maintain maintenance records using CMMS and coordinate with production.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, and upgrades.
• Coordinate maintenance needs with production teams.
• Manage relationships with external contractors and vendors.
• Identify opportunities for equipment improvement and cost reductions.
• Manage spare parts inventory; on-call and emergency support as needed.
