Cooper Machinery Services in the United States is seeking a Mechanic I to take heavy-duty engines and compressors apart, rebuild them, test them, and return them to service. You will learn from experienced mechanics in a shop where safety and quality come first.

This role offers hands-on problem solving with a team, and opportunities to grow your skills across a range of OEM equipment. A High School Diploma or GED and a willingness to work overtime are required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of mechanical test/assembly or heavy equipment repair experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, prints, and schematics.

Responsabilidades

• Disassemble, assemble, test, and repaint engine and compressor equipment.
• Use a range of mechanical tools safely and accurately.
• Set up and run test operations per engineering specs.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform minor maintenance.
• Conduct risk assessments before starting work.
