Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg, NJ is seeking an Adjunct Part-Time Non-Credit Machining Instructor to teach machining technology in our Advanced Manufacturing department. The instructor will deliver hands-on demonstrations and lab-based instruction, prepare lesson plans, supervise labs, ensure safe use of equipment, assess student performance, and keep grades and attendance records.

• Minimum three years of verifiable CNC machining experience.
• Three years of mentorship experience in machining.
• Hands-on proficiency with CNC and manual machining equipment, metrology tools, and controls.
• Strong communication skills for instructional settings.
• Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching.

Responsabilidades

• Teach machining technology courses through hands-on demonstrations and labs.
• Prepare lesson plans and deliver lectures.
• Supervise lab activities and enforce safety protocols.
• Assess student performance and maintain grades/attendance.
• Collaborate with faculty on curriculum updates and outreach to employers.
• Maintain CNC lab and equipment and manage inventory.
