Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Production Associate in Cookeville, TN. The role requires machine operating experience, accuracy, and a readiness to work any shift. Compensation is $16 per hour with three available shifts: 7am–3pm, 3pm–11pm, and 11pm–7am.

The job involves handling parts, sub-assemblies, and ensuring quality while maintaining a safe, climate-controlled environment. A temp-to-perm path and Sunday overtime with double time are offered.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Basic ability to read blueprints.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 25lbs.
• Willingness to work up to 19 days straight.

Responsibilities

• Position parts, materials, and sub-assemblies for assembly.
• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Set up, operate, or tend more than one type of cutting or forming machine tool or robot.
• Inspect workpieces for defects and measure them to determine accuracy of machine operation.
