Job summary

Konik is seeking an Assistant Machine Operator in New Hope, MN on a first shift (M-TH 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM). This contract-to-hire role supports production, equipment setup, and quality checks while developing hands-on skills around industrial equipment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years in manufacturing or warehouse roles, with strong attention to detail and reliable attendance. Training provided on safety and processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1–3 years of related warehouse shipping/receiving or production experience
• Able to read instructions and production documents
• Basic math and measurement reading skills
• Reliable attendance and teamwork minded

Responsibilities

• Assist machine operator with setup and production prep
• Gather components and materials per tickets/BOMs
• Monitor equipment during production for efficiency
• Perform basic troubleshooting and resolve issues
• Conduct quality inspections using rulers/gauges
• Ensure products meet specs and quality standards
• Assist with light equipment maintenance
• Maintain clean, safe work area
• Assist with packaging finished products and material rolls
• Operate machine when needed in operator's absence
