Job summary

Design Ready Controls is seeking a Manufacturing Assistant for our Fabrication facility in Champlin, MN. You will support production and warehouse teams, learning machine operations, material handling, and packaging. This role is perfect for hands-on individuals who want growth in a fast-paced shop environment.

Shifts are 1st: M-Th 6:00am-3:15pm, Fri 6:00am-11:00am. The job emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement while contributing to high-quality component production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with machine operations or steel fabrication preferred.
• Experience with material handling and warehousing is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines and assist with setup and configuration.
• Handle materials with forklift after certification.
• Perform inventory, picking, receiving, and cycle counts.
• Prepare shipping documents, including international paperwork.
• Maintain safety and PPE compliance.
• Collaborate with machine operators, production, and warehouse teams.
