Job summary

JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a Senior Machine Builder to join our on-site team in Holland, MI. You will assemble equipment per drawings, document changes, and drive actions to meet cost, quality, timing and customer satisfaction. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Strong mechanical aptitude, safety focus, and ability to work independently or with a team are essential. A Hi-Lo, aerial platform, and overhead crane licenses are preferred or required upon employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational education preferred.
• Proven mechanical aptitude with emphasis on safety and quality.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and follow instructions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic Excel navigation.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, domestically or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of equipment per mechanical drawings.
• Document changes and communicate problems.
• Work with minimal direct supervision.
• Execute ISO/Quality standards.
• Communicate with the Build Lead on issues and progress.
