Referment is seeking an Engineering Manager to own Linux platform security in a high-performance production environment. You will lead a technical team, shape the security roadmap, and drive security controls from design to production.

You will stay close to engineering, prototyping and problem-solving while guiding a skilled team through complex infrastructure challenges, including AI sandboxing and strengthened privileged access.

Competenze

• Extensive experience securing complex Linux/Unix environments.
• Practical experience with Linux Security Modules (SELinux/AppArmor).
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, certificates, cryptographic primitives and network protocols.
• Experience with Kerberos, OIDC, TLS and LDAP.
• Ability to work in the Unix shell and use Python for tooling, automation or investigation.
• Experience leading engineers and technical projects through ambiguity.
• Record of collaboration with infrastructure/platform teams.

• Design, build and deploy security improvements across a large Linux estate.

• Improve service-to-service identity and workload authentication using certificates.
