Job summary

Ruppert Landscape in the Washington, DC area offers a 10–12-week paid Landscape Maintenance Internship May–August 2027. You’ll gain hands-on field training, shadowing across Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership, plus dedicated mentorship and leadership development.

You’ll spend time both in the field and in the office, with a focus on practical skills, industry exposure, and meaningful projects that prepare you for a career in the commercial landscape industry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Actively pursuing a degree in a related field (Horticulture, Turf Management, etc).
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with customer-focused mindset.
• Comfortable in office and outdoor environments.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and use common software tools.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Field Training across multiple areas of field operations.
• Job Shadowing with Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership.
• Dedicated Mentorship guiding progress and development.
• Management & Leadership Development through team activities and etiquette.
• Collaborative Team Environment working with interns and professionals.
