Job summary

Amos' Place in Intercourse, PA is seeking dependable Restaurant Service Team Members to support food preparation and daily kitchen operations. This hands-on role is for someone who is comfortable working with food, following recipes, and helping a busy kitchen stay prepared and organized.

Previous food service experience is helpful, but we’re also willing to train dependable individuals who are ready to learn and grow with our locally owned family restaurant.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, kitchen, or food preparation experience is preferred, but not required.
• Comfortable working with food and learning kitchen procedures.
• Able to follow recipes, instructions, and established processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable and team-oriented.
• Willing to learn and assist in different areas of the kitchen as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and established procedures.
• Measure and portion ingredients accurately and consistently.
• Assist with food assembly and basic kitchen production.
• Set up and maintain organized food preparation workstations.
• Label and properly store prepared food items.
• Rotate products and ingredients to maintain quality and freshness.
• Restock ingredients and supplies during service.
• Support cooks and kitchen team members with food preparation.
• Adapt to changing kitchen needs and priorities.
• Maintain clean and organized preparation and storage areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Help maintain consistency in portioning, presentation, and product quality.
