Job summary

Stoltzfus Meats, Inc. is seeking a Restaurant Service Team Member to support food preparation and daily kitchen operations at Amos' Place. This hands-on role involves following recipes, prepping ingredients, and keeping stations organized while helping the busy kitchen stay prepared.

Ideal candidates may have prior restaurant or kitchen experience, but reliable learners are welcome. You will rotate tasks, maintain hygiene standards, and contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced team environment

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, kitchen, or food prep experience preferred.
• Comfortable working with food and learning kitchen procedures.
• Able to follow recipes, instructions, and established processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable and team-oriented.
• Willing to learn and assist in different areas of the kitchen as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and established procedures
• Measure and portion ingredients accurately and consistently
• Assist with food assembly and basic kitchen production
• Set up and maintain organized food preparation workstations
• Label and properly store prepared food items
• Rotate products and ingredients to maintain quality and freshness
• Restock ingredients and supplies during service
• Support cooks and kitchen team members with food preparation
• Adapt to changing kitchen needs and priorities
• Maintain clean and organized preparation and storage areas
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Help maintain consistency in portioning, presentation, and product quality
