Qualifications

• 3+ years in structural steel fabrication, welding, or industrial manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
• Previous lead, foreman, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and meeting customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily supervision of steel fabrication shop operations.
• Coordinate production activities to meet project schedules and customer requirements.
• Review job priorities and help assign work to fabrication personnel.
• Monitor workflow, material availability, and production progress.
• Support compliance with DOT project requirements, quality standards, and documentation processes.
• Interpret shop drawings.
• Identify production challenges and assist in implementing solutions.
• Promote a strong safety culture and safe work practices.
• Support training and development of shop employees.
• Assist with continuous improvement efforts to increase productivity and efficiency.
