Trillium Staffing in Tinton Falls, NJ seeks a Junior Maintenance Technician for hands-on training with our Maintenance Engineer. You’ll learn to maintain production and facility equipment in a commercial printing environment, gaining experience with presses, bindery machines, and the systems that keep a busy operation running smoothly.

As you progress, you’ll take on troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety-focused tasks that protect both people and equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; any technical coursework is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and apply maintenance techniques on the floor.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment across the facility, including presses, bindery machines, and related systems.
• Carry out routine mechanical tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, part changes, and equipment adjustments.
• Support preventive maintenance efforts to boost equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Respond to maintenance calls on the production floor and assist with equipment checks and inspections.
• Follow all required safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and hazard reporting, to ensure a safe work environment.
• Keep maintenance logs accurate, tools organized, and the work area clean and orderly.
