Job summary

DXC Technology seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer / Technical Lead to support and maintain critical enterprise infrastructure while leading mid-level technical projects. This hands-on role emphasizes Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux administration with patching and vulnerability remediation expertise.

You will coordinate OS upgrades, AD initiatives, and patch rollouts in hybrid environments, including AWS.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2019 or newer.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Active Directory administration and architecture.
• Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and enterprise server administration.
• Working knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu, including core operating system administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues involving operating systems, Active Directory, servers, and related infrastructure components.
• Experience with enterprise patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience with tools such as Ivanti and Rapid7, or comparable platforms.
• Demonstrated experience planning, coordinating, executing, and reporting on mid-level infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server 2019 and newer environments.
• Perform hands-on Windows Server administration, including OS configuration, services, networking, and performance activities.
• Administer Active Directory including UO, GPOs, domain trusts, and DC promotion/demotion.
• Design and implement new Active Directory environments.
• Support Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu environments, including core OS administration and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across Windows, Linux, AD, networking, and related components.
• Manage OS patching activities using enterprise patch management tools.
• Conduct vulnerability scanning and remediation using platforms such as Rapid7.
