Job summary

Timesavers LLC in Maple Grove, MN, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and improve custom industrial machinery. You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, assembly, purchasing, service, and sales to deliver practical, manufacturable solutions that meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of professional mechanical engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial equipment.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Experience designing mechanical assemblies and machined parts.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerances, and material selection.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Hands-on, cross-functional collaborator on design-to-production.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems, assemblies, components, and structures for industrial machinery.
• Create and maintain detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, engineering drawings, and BOMs.
• Develop machine designs from concept through manufacturing, assembly, testing and release.
• Perform engineering calculations and analysis to validate designs and selections.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and service teams to resolve issues.
• Provide hands-on engineering support during assembly, testing, and validation.
• Review customer specifications and translate requirements into designs.
• Support Sales, Service, and Production with technical questions.
