Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or closely related field.
• 3+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial equipment.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks 3D CAD software and detailed drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems and structures for industrial machinery.
• Create 3D CAD models and BOMs for manufacturing.
• Perform engineering calculations to validate designs, loads and tolerances.
• Review customer specifications and translate requirements into practical designs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to resolve design, fit, and fabrication issues.
• Provide hands-on support during assembly, testing, and validation.
• Apply GD&T and tolerancing in drawings and designs.
• Design for manufacturability, cost, and reliability.
