Novares is seeking a hands-on HR professional for our Howell facility to support day-to-day HR functions and partner with site leadership on employee relations, staffing, performance, and HR process execution.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of HR generalist experience, plus a Bachelor's degree in a related field. The role offers exposure to plant HR operations and opportunities to drive meaningful people solutions within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive HR generalist experience.
• Experience coaching supervisors and working with operations.
• Experience in a manufacturing or fast-paced environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HR processes, payroll, and labor practices in the US.
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operations leaders and supervisors to address workforce needs and HR metrics.
• Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, retention, performance management, and employee development.
• Provide guidance on attendance, performance coaching, and investigations.
• Support employee relations by listening, fact-finding, and documenting issues.
• Review turnover, staffing, absenteeism, engagement, and HR data to identify trends.
• Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with policies and US labor laws.
• Improve HR tools and processes to enhance the employee experience.
• Promote company behaviors like accountability and teamwork.
