Job summary

Stellantis is offering an in-person HR internship at a manufacturing facility in the Metro Detroit area for May through August 2027. Interns will rotate through core HR functions, gaining exposure to labor relations, staffing, compliance, and employee engagement.

The program emphasizes mentorship, real-world projects, and networking, with potential for return internships or full-time opportunities based on performance. Relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial or Employee Relations, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the internship.
• Willingness to work in the Metro Detroit area for the duration of the internship.
• Completion of freshman year or higher at an accredited university by Spring 2027.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Must be willing and able to work in a plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Labor relations in a plant focus on resolving workplace issues and ensuring compliance with labor laws and union agreements.
• Employment HR Generalists in a plant support hiring, onboarding and leave processes, ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
