Qualifications

• Completion of trade school courses or minimal experience in one or more of the following areas preferred: HPP equipment maintenance, industrial maintenance, electro-mechanical maintenance, hydraulic systems or automated equipment maintenance.
• Capable of completing routine preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on HPP and electro-mechanical equipment with instructions and supervision.
• Fully proficient with, and capable of operating power and hand tools; basic computer skills.
• Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the facility; problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload with demonstrated organizational skills; ability to work in temperatures ranging from -20 F to 100 F and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks and minor repairs on HPP equipment and related mechanical assets under supervision.
• At automated sites, perform basic preventative maintenance tasks on PLCs, VFDs, proximity switches, photoelectric sensors, pressure switches, push buttons and testing equipment under supervision.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks and troubleshooting on hydraulic systems, conveyors, case sealing machines and robotic unloading systems under supervision.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks on electrical and electro-mechanical systems, including 3-phase 480V equipment, motors and related components under supervision.
• Operate power tools, cutting torch and other welding apparatus to cut or join metal parts; use onsite lifts as needed.
