Shield AI is seeking a hands-on Lab Operations professional to manage HIL laboratories, ensure technical readiness, and support software development and integration testing. The role emphasizes asset discipline, documentation, and cross-program collaboration across avionics, robotics, and mission systems.

The candidate will handle wiring, rack integration, and lab infrastructure while coordinating with software, hardware, and test teams.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 5+ years of hands-on lab operations experience.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, robotics, or mission-critical industries.
• Ability to obtain SECRET clearance.
• Experience supporting HIL/SIL/VIL labs.

Responsibilities

• Own daily operations and technical readiness for HIL labs and infrastructure.
• Build, install, configure, inspect, and maintain HIL racks and test benches.
• Maintain asset control with serialization, location, and custody records.
• Coordinate lab schedules and equipment availability across programs.
• Read wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and installation drawings.
