Reducto, Inc. is seeking a Head of Product Engineering in San Francisco to lead the engineering team building our enterprise-grade document platform. You will set product direction, ensure fast, reliable, and precise delivery, and spend initial months coding alongside the team.

You’ll report to the Head of Engineering and collaborate with the founders. The role combines hands-on coding with strategic leadership in a fast-growing, in-person office in SF.

Qualifications

• Product intuition and attention to detail; first-principles thinking.
• Commitment to high-quality, reliable product delivery.
• 3+ years leading teams that built impactful applications; able to ship from 0 to 1 and 1 to 100.
• Quantitative approach to product development; comfortable with end-to-end lifecycle.
• Comfort with ambiguity; ex-founders are a good fit but not required.
• Experience directly with customers through discovery or research.

Responsibilities

• Shape what products we build with founders, product teams, and customers.
• Create intuitive UIs that simplify complex document workflows.
• Ideate, prototype and deliver features like form filling, translations, editing and classification.
• Source and recruit product engineers to build the platform.
• Define how we apply AI in the product development process.
• Collaborate with Platform and ML engineering to roll out models and deployment capabilities.
