Job summary

Revel is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineering Intern to work at the intersection of software and hardware in Los Angeles or San Francisco. You will write production-quality code in C, C++, Python, or Rust and build tools and dashboards for engineers to monitor hardware.

You will support integration with test stands, sensors, actuators, and existing customer infrastructure, and collaborate with customer and internal teams to troubleshoot issues.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in CS/CE/EE/ME or related technical field.
• Rising Junior or Senior graduating in 2027 or 2028.
• Strong programming fundamentals with C, C++, or Python.
• Interest in systems engineering and hardware interaction.
• Willing to travel to customer sites occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Write production-quality code in C, C++, Python, or Rust.
• Build tools and dashboards to interact with hardware.
• Support integration of Revel with test stands, sensors, actuators, and customer infra.
• Collaborate with customer and internal teams to troubleshoot problems.
• Help develop and test software that interfaces with physical hardware.
• Learn how software, firmware, and hardware work together end-to-end.
