Job summary

Revel is seeking a Software Engineering – Test Intern to help build infrastructure for continuously testing software against real and simulated hardware. You will work at the intersection of software, hardware, and infrastructure, building and maintaining HIL test systems and automation.

You’ll write Python, work with CI/CD, interact with test equipment, and help make testing faster, more reliable, and scalable.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a technical field with expected graduation 2027/2028.
• Experience in Python or another language via coursework, projects, or internships.
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills; interest in software testing and automation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) testing systems.
• Write Python scripts and automation to improve testing workflows.
• Integrate test equipment and hardware into automated test environments.
• Contribute to CI/CD and testing infrastructure.
• Help diagnose failures across software, hardware, and test infrastructure.
• Improve reliability, speed, and scalability of automated testing.
• Develop tools that aid engineers in testing against real hardware.
• Contribute to documentation and best practices in testing and automation.
• Collaborate with software, embedded, and hardware engineers to improve coverage.
