Qualifications

• Experience with small engine repair (2-cycle and 4-cycle).
• Prior experience sharpening mower blades.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift/move heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on mowers, tractors, and small engines.
• Grind reels and bed knives, sharpen rotary blades to keep mowing equipment in top shape.
• Diagnose and repair 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines, gasoline and diesel.
• Follow proper procedures for recycling and disposal of fluids.
• Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized.
• Report equipment needs and repair concerns to Equipment Manager or Superintendents.
