Job summary

The Simmons I-Cut Further Prod Tech (NS) role is a production-line position on a moving conveyor where you would learn, rotate between packer, scaler, styler and grader tasks to maintain the line speeds for each product. This role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement within a LEAN framework.

Key responsibilities include packing, weighing, grading and removing nonconforming product, while collaborating with the team on policy execution and process

Responsibilities

• Operate on a moving conveyor belt using both hands.

• Inspect, grade and remove product not meeting standards (pull bones from product).
• Collaborate with team to implement programs and policies; participate in team meetings.
• Familiarity with Simmons operating systems and LEAN; understand impact of actions on systems.
• Perform other duties to support business objectives as needed.
