Job summary

Veo in New Jersey is seeking an Operations Associate to support the local market with day-to-day tasks, vehicle maintenance, asset handling, and customer service in Veo’s micromobility network. You will help redistribute scooters and perform inspections, while supporting hiring and staff scheduling under the Operations Manager.

Ideal candidates have basic mechanical aptitude, a year of leadership experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs with strong geography

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical and technical aptitude.
• 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and be on your feet for a shift.
• Knowledge of the local geography and street layout.
• Clear, effective communication.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Manager with day-to-day responsibilities in the market.
• Direct labor and warehouse organization; hand-count assets and conduct audits.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance of vehicles; respond to on-demand service requests.
• Redistribute scooters around Veo’s service areas; identify scooters needing in-shop repair.
• Ad-hoc tasks and other duties as required.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling staff; track productivity; SOP follow-up; assist with projects.
