Job summary

Betacom is seeking a Civil Tech to perform hands-on site civil construction under supervision, following the scope of work and construction documents. You will prepare sites, install and ground equipment, and operate power tools and light equipment while adhering to OSHA safety policies and maintaining a professional on-site presence.

You may work solo or with a crew, perform trenching, conduit installation, concrete forming, landscaping, and routine maintenance, and complete timesheets.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of hand tools and equipment.
• Able to read and interpret basic documents.
• Must pass safety and PPE procedures.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation, installation and grounding of equipment.
• Observe Betacom safety policies.
• Perform preoperational safety checks on equipment.
• Complete time sheets accurately.
• Install/test underground and above-ground grounding systems.
• Perform concrete forming, pouring and finishing.
• Perform light carpentry and landscaping.
• Trench and conduit installation and testing.
• Move materials as directed by Crew Leader.
• Maintain a clean, safe worksite.
