Job summary

InfraServices is seeking a Civil Technician II to perform advanced general construction on wireless telecommunications sites, including layout, foundations, grounding, conduit, fiber, and site landscaping. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely completion.

You will travel to job sites, mentor teammates, and use hand and power tools; OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid are required or pursued, with potential HazCom/RF safety certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related trade school.
• 1–2 years of wireless telecom construction experience.
• OSHA 10 Construction Training Card (OSHA 30 preferred).
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Certifications may be required per scope (HazCom, RF safety, etc).

Responsibilities

• Assist with site layout for tower construction under limited supervision.
• Use hand and power tools for trenching, concrete, rebar, and grading.
• Install and connect jumpers and cables to ground equipment.
• Construct rebar cages for foundations per specs.
• Document site progress with photos for reporting.
• Perform weatherproofing, fiber testing, and other tests.
• Interpret drawings, RF datasheets, and scopes of work.
• Follow safety practices; complete timecards and checklists.
• Travel to job sites; mentor less experienced teammates.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles.
