Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Facility Maintenance Technician in Massachusetts.

You will inspect, maintain and construct facilities, perform general maintenance, and collaborate with other technicians to complete complex projects across multiple sites. Ideal candidates bring experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing, or landscaping, hold a valid driver’s license, and can meet the 18+ age requirement.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping.
• Valid driver’s license.
• DOT certification (can be sponsored by U-Haul).
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
• Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and semiannual roof inspections at various sites.
• Effectively work with a variety of hand/power tools.
• Pool knowledge with other Facility Maintenance Technicians to accomplish complex projects.
• Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner.
