Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to collaborate with a team of technicians on complex projects across multiple sites. The role focuses on inspection, maintenance, installation and service of buildings, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

The position requires experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping, along with a valid driver’s license. Pay ranges from $17 to $19 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping.
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
• Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and semiannual roof inspections at various sites.
• Effectively work with a variety of hand/power tools.
• Collaborate with other Facility Maintenance Technicians to accomplish complex projects.
• Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep track of company truck and gas card.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
