Job summary

Aerotek seeks a Maintenance Associate for a manufacturing facility in New Jersey. The role covers interior and exterior upkeep, basic repairs, and routine inspections to keep operations safe and productive.

Responsibilities include cleaning, light plumbing work, and using basic tools. You will work independently or with a team, following safety standards, with a Monday–Friday first-shift schedule and opportunities to contribute across maintenance projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in building/facilities maintenance in industrial or similar environment
• Hands-on maintenance with basic hand tools
• Knowledge of basic plumbing repairs or maintenance
• Experience operating cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior areas of the facility.
• Replace light fixtures, filters, and ceiling tiles as needed.
• Inspect and maintain emergency equipment for readiness and safety.
• Operate floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment.
• Clean windows and manage facility grounds for presentability.
• Perform basic plumbing repairs and minor fixes as needed.
