Job summary

Newbury Franklin Industrials is seeking a hands-on Facilities & Maintenance Technician to keep our warehouse and manufacturing facility running safely and efficiently. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and coordinate with vendors as needed.

The role requires experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, knowledge of building systems, and a strong safety mindset. On-site, first-shift duties and a focus on equipment uptime are expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in industrial, warehouse, or facility settings.
• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on repairs on facility infrastructure (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting) and equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Execute preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend asset life.
• Respond to work orders and emergency repairs promptly and safely.
• Diagnose malfunctions using tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain maintenance logs and coordinate with vendors for specialized work.
