Job summary

Holy Spirit Catholic Church is seeking a reliable and hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee the care, maintenance, and functionality of our church and school facilities. The Facilities Manager is responsible for maintaining the condition of buildings and grounds, developing preventative maintenance procedures, and coordinating maintenance personnel and projects.

The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, strong leadership and communication skills,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years in a similar facilities role.
• General knowledge of HVAC systems.
• General knowledge of electrical and plumbing.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain maintenance schedules for buildings and grounds.
• Diagnose and repair or coordinate repairs for building systems.
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems to ensure safe operation.
• Plan routine maintenance and coordinate timely repairs.
• Supervise maintenance staff and contractors; manage budgets.
• Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with standards.
• Ensure safe operations and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
