Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Associate to perform a variety of custodial, building, and maintenance duties across facilities.

The role supports preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems within the Engineering and Technical Services function. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, repairs, roof system work, wastewater and vent line upkeep, and assisting contractors on installations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Performs general preventive maintenance, repair, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and distribution systems.
• Responds to general maintenance duties and supports building engineer/technician operations.
• Repairs and troubleshoots roof systems.
• Maintains waste and vent lines using appropriate tools.
• Assists other staff or contractors on projects or equipment installations.
• Provides training to other staff for light maintenance and repairs.
• Responds quickly to emergency situations and calls for additional assistance as needed.
