Job summary
Deckorators Buffalo is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep our flagship Buffalo facility safe, clean, and functional. You will perform preventative maintenance, basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs with a focus on safety and reliability.
The role covers groundskeeping, winter snow/ice removal, inventory support, and coordination with contractors as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years in general or facilities maintenance preferred.
- Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and repair skills.
- Ability to operate safety practices and PPE.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building and grounds.
- Complete basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
- Inspect facilities to identify safety concerns early.
- Respond to repair requests and prioritize by safety and operations.
- Coordinate with outside contractors when needed.
- Maintain records of maintenance, inspections, and work performed.
- Support seasonal snow and ice removal and safety of entrances.
