Job summary

Human Technologies is seeking a dedicated General Maintenance worker to service a federal customer’s building in Buffalo. The role requires hands-on maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks acrossElectrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems.

Applicants should have 3–5 years in maintenance, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license. Driving duties may be required; background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• A.A.S. in building construction technology or closely related field with 3-5 years of maintenance experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Must pass required background checks.
• Physically capable of climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 pounds, and long periods of standing/walking.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance and repair of equipment in assigned areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance per monthly PM schedule.
• Generate proposals or quotes for repairs and enter in FMX; update status.
• Assist in grounds maintenance and janitorial tasks as needed.
• Coordinate with subcontractors; provide access and site knowledge.
• Contribute to safety compliance and OSHA regulations; practice safe work habits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Supervisor.
