Job summary
Deckorators Buffalo facility is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep the building, grounds, and equipment safe and functional. The role covers preventative maintenance, basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow and ice removal, with daily problem solving and prioritization based on safety and operations.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of maintenance experience, and the ability to work independently in varied
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum three years in general or facilities maintenance.
- Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on the building, grounds, and facility systems.
- Complete general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting.
- Identify safety concerns and prioritize work based on safety and operations.
- Assist with snow and ice removal and salt application during winter.
