Job summary

YMCA of Wilbraham is seeking a Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor to oversee cleanliness, maintenance, and improvements across all YMCA facilities. This hands-on leadership role supervises custodial staff and collaborates with maintenance crews to keep buildings, pools, and grounds safe and well-maintained.

The position requires organizing preventative maintenance and coordinating with outside vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Pool Operator, CPR/First Aid certifications
• Previous supervisory experience in facilities/maintenance
• Ability to coordinate with vendors and across departments

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement facility cleaning, maintenance, and improvements.
• Oversee custodial and maintenance staff; coordinate with contractors.
• Ensure operation of mechanical systems including pool systems.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Develop inventory and budget-conscious purchasing.
• On-call availability for after-hours repairs.
