First State Bank of Uvalde is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee facility upkeep, coordinate trades, and lead the maintenance team. The role emphasizes hands-on electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance, with a strong focus on safety and reliability.

The Manager will supervise staff, plan preventative maintenance, and coordinate with contractors to ensure our facilities remain safe, clean, and functional for our customers and employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Hands-on experience with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance."
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Good communication and customer-service skills when interacting with employees, management, contractors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and leadership to Maintenance Department employees.
• Develop and manage daily, weekly, and on-call work schedules for department staff.
• Coordinate outside contractors and vendors as needed.
• Ensure maintenance work is completed accurately, safely, and on time.
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
