Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for our Global Workplace Solutions Local operations in Sunnyvale, CA.

The role performs light maintenance tasks, reads directions from the Facility Manager, and supports Building Maintenance Technicians to ensure safe and functional workplaces. You will conduct routine inspections, assist with installation and modification of equipment, document status in work order systems, and help energy management by keeping building systems

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of related experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and minor repairs.
• Readily follows directions from Facility Manager and supports Building Maintenance Technicians.
• Document status of work orders and assist with energy management.
