Job summary

Burrow Global Fabrication in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a hands-on Fabrication Project Manager with 8–10 years of industrial steel fabrication experience. You will own the end-to-end master schedule from initial drawings through final delivery and keep projects moving on track on-site.

Responsibilities include maintaining a simple project dashboard, leading weekly cross-functional meetings, and controlling labor hours, budgets, and change orders while coordinating with customers and shop

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of hands-on industrial or steel fabrication shop experience.
• Deep understanding of steel fabrication processes, welding standards, QA/QC workflows, coating/finishing protocols, and shop floor logistics.
• Ability to read engineering design documents.
• Strong track record of tracking procurement, managing schedules, developing estimates, managing budgets, and controlling change orders.
• Clear, direct communication style with the ability to interface effectively between shop personnel, procurement, and external clients.
• Word, Excel, Teams is required.

Responsibilities

• Master schedule ownership from drawing release to final delivery.
• Create BOMs and material requirements.
• Issue POs and track materials.
• Oversee fabrication startup and welding execution.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance and coating/finishing.
• Coordinate customer inspections and final shipping.
• Maintain project dashboard tracking key metrics (deliverables, overdue tasks, bottlenecks, procurement, percent complete, labor vs budget, change orders, delivery timelines).
• Lead concise weekly project meetings with cross-functional shop, quality, and procurement teams to clear roadblocks and maintain schedule alignment.
• Monitor labor hours against budget, evaluate scope changes, process change orders, and serve as liaison for customer inspection and delivery coordination.
