Valmet is seeking an Engineering Technician I in Shrewsbury, MA to support engineering development, testing, and product validation. You will assemble, modify, and test mechanical and electromechanical systems, assist with prototypes, and develop test procedures while documenting results.

The role requires comfort working independently on projects and collaborating with engineers and technicians. Experience with LabVIEW, data acquisition, and PLCs is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory and test equipment.
