Job summary

This role involves overseeing a team of engineers, contributing to code, and managing project deliveries. You will be working closely with our leadership team and play a critical part in scaling our operations as the company progresses.

Ideal candidates will have over 7 years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a management position. Competence in backend and full-stack development with Ruby and React is crucial.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering experience with 2+ years managing engineers.
• Strong technical foundation in backend and frontend development.
• Ability to lead design reviews and manage production incidents.
• Experience with third-party APIs and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 4-8 engineers, contributing code and features.
• Own delivery from planning to shipping, managing performance.
• Conduct design reviews and run standups and incident responses.
• Grow and manage engineer performance through regular feedback.
