Job summary

EarnIn is seeking an experienced engineering leader to guide a full-stack team, combining backend and mobile platforms. You will implement AI-native practices, mentor engineers, and shape product exploration from 0-1 with cross-functional partners. The role is based in Mountain View with in-office work required two days a week.

You will scale the team, drive high-velocity development, and ensure architectural excellence while balancing hands-on contributions and leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience with leadership in IC or EM.
• Ability to dive into architecture and write clean, scalable code while mentoring others.
• Experience leading cross-functional partnerships with PMs, Analysts, mobile/backend engineers.
• Hands-on fluency with AI-native engineering workflows and relevant tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the full performance management lifecycle for your team, including setting expectations and development planning.
• Partner with product and cross-functional teams to translate goals into technical roadmaps.
• Drive architecture and implementation of new features with high-quality code.
• Recruit and develop a high-performing engineering team focused on innovation.
