Davidson Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Engineering for a premier downtown Nashville hotel. You will support daily operations, manage parts and labor expenditures, and help deliver exceptional service in a 30-story high-rise property.

The role requires hands-on leadership, developing staff, and ensuring budget adherence while maintaining safety and reliability across mechanical, electrical, and life-safety systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of engineering experience in a hotel or comparable facilities environment.
• 2–4 years of supervisory experience leading teams of 3+ associates (6+ preferred).
• Working knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Experience developing, implementing, and managing preventive maintenance programs.
• Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics across mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in oversight of the hotel facility operations and expense control.
• Support department budgeting, forecasting, and annual budget preparation.
• Provide hands‑on leadership and develop employees for guest service excellence.
• Ensure adherence to internal audit control procedures and safety standards.
