Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler in Colorado Springs to assemble electronic and mechanical components, perform quality checks, and support manufacturing operations with advanced tools and documentation.

You will read drawings, use hand tools and test equipment, and ensure high quality in a fast-paced, onsite production environment. Cleanroom experience is a plus, and strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with electro-mechanical, electrical, or mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
• Comfortable using hand tools and electronic assembly equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Cleanroom experience is a plus.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical products and subassemblies from drawings and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, electronic tools, and test equipment to complete assemblies.
• Perform detailed assembly work, including microscope work when required.
• Inspect products and maintain high quality standards.
• Document production activities and non-conformances.
• Support inventory, cycle counting, and material handling tasks.
• Follow safety, 5S, lean manufacturing, and cleanroom procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
