Ihcus is seeking a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician in San Antonio, TX to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment. The role covers electrical and mechanical faults with multimeters, reading schematics, and performing preventive maintenance.

You'll work on production machinery in a non-supervisory capacity, with a 6-week rotating shift including day, night, and split shifts. The position emphasizes safety and hands-on problem solving in a warehouse environment.

Formación

• Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing industrial equipment.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to use a multimeter and electrical diagnostic tools.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and equipment manuals.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial manufacturing equipment and production machinery.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment failures.
• Perform hands-on mechanical repairs.
• Troubleshoot motors, sensors, switches, relays, contactors, wiring, and other electrical components.
• Use multimeters and other diagnostic tools to identify electrical problems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore equipment to operation.
• Identify root causes of recurring equipment problems.
• Repair and replace bearings, belts, chains, rollers, gears, motors, shafts, etc.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Assist with equipment installations, adjustments, modifications, and improvements.
• Inspect machinery for wear and potential failures.
• Complete maintenance work orders and documentation.
• Follow lockout/tagout and safety procedures.
