Job summary

The Lakes at Litchfield, part of Senior Living Communities, LLC, seeks an experienced Director of Nursing to lead nursing services in a 24-bed Skilled Nursing neighborhood. You will partner with leadership to ensure exceptional clinical outcomes, regulatory compliance, resident satisfaction, and engaged team members.

You will recruit, mentor, and develop staff, oversee schedules, and drive continuous quality improvements in patient care, safety, and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of South Carolina.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee nursing services within the Skilled Nursing neighborhood.
• Foster a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, and compassionate care.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, hospice providers, home health partners, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations and standards.
• Maintain staffing plans and nursing schedules to provide quality 24-hour resident care.
• Monitor clinical outcomes and communicate significant resident changes to appropriate parties.
• Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop nursing team members.
• Support onboarding, orientation, and ongoing education for nursing staff.
• Manage nursing supplies, equipment, and department resources.
• Participate in community leadership initiatives and quality assurance programs.
• Serve as an on-call clinical leader and Manager on Duty as assigned.
